Anti-Spam and Spyware Solutions

They complement our anti-spam solutions portfolio perfectly with their highly effective managed anti-spam service. All of these technology synergies allow Hi-Link to work closely with our clients and diagnose the many variables that must be considered when selecting the appropriate Spam solution.

Some of these variables include:

• Number of users
• The maximum amount of false positives (a legitimate e-mail that is blocked by a Spam filter)
• The maximum amount of false negatives (the Spam is not blocked by the filter and gets through to the end users inbox)
• The amount of e-mail the company wants to quarantine and save on a server
• Whether a dedicated server to run Spam software, a black box solution, or a managed service is a better fit

After evaluating all of these variables then a proper Spam product solution can be put in place. Each one of the anti-spam solutions offers unique benefits to the end user and many of them have evaluation demos available for a company to test for 30 days. Spam may seem like a difficult problem, but with the proper local guidance it can be solved with very little administrative burden and in the long run will show a return on investment by allowing the companies' employees to be more productive.
